- Castle Comet – Olympia – the
only pony to be Champion of Champions at HOYS and Champion
at Olympia. Comet scored a whopping 95 (47 Riding / 48 Conformation)
out of 100, 11 points clear of the 2nd prize winner. Having
won both Supreme at HOYS in 2002 and now the NPS Baileys
Championship 2004, Vanessa took Comet on his final, emotional,
lap of honour in front of an audience of thousands, halted
in the centre of the Arena, jumped off, gave Comet a pat
and then walked him out of the floodlit International Arena
into retirement from Ridden Classes.
